Responsibilities:



- Analyze trends in Cost of Goods sold; analyze gross margin and ensure monthly goals are being met



- Analyze trends in relation to reserves/warranty; review and analyze the cost performance



- Perform cycle count and inventory reconciliations



- Perform monthly close activities; account analysis and generate monthly reports for management



- Apply accounting principals to analyze financial information



- Be a leader in process improvements projects



- Assist with budgeting/forecasting activities





Requirements:



- BA/BS degree in Accounting. Finance, or related field



- 5+ years of cost accounting and analysis



- Previous experience in a manufacturing or distrbution environment



- Strong knowledge of GAAP



- Excellent written and verbal communication skills



- Working knowledge of a large ERP system
